I am from a beach city originally so its been a struggle for me to find sushi that can compare to what I’m used to. Okura nails it! Everytime i go the fish is always so fresh and expertly prepared. There is a reason why this place is so packed and it is well worth the wait if you have to! The service is excellent too! Do yourself a favor and go to Okura! Some of my favorites are the yellowtail and the albacore. They also have an all you can eat option. All members at your table must participate. It is well worth it if you are a sushi lover like me!

My husband and I stopped by to see what all the hype was about! OKURA came highly recommended by two great sources! They weren’t kidding! Great service at the sushi bar, very fresh Sushi and sashimi prepared right in front of us! The most amazing and huge trays for the rest of the tables in the restaurants were also being prepped in front of us, by the rest of the chefs. We ordered a few things, Tempura Spicy Tuna Roll and the Hamachi Mango Roll with Garlic Edamame and Vegetable Tempura. Their Tempura is super light, veggies are sliced very thin and of a nice variety. The Hamachi (Yellow Tail) was delicious… Amazing texture.

The atmosphere here is really fun. Highly recommend reservations. We got a heads up on this one so we were good. It’s a fairly large restaurant but it’s very popular!

They have a great selection of other food on their menu as well; Bento boxes, skewers, soups, salads, as well as a nice drink menu. Enjoy!
